Prayers of Gnostic and Hermetic Traditions

"O Unknown Father, Unrevealable and Ageless, You are my Mind: give me birth. You are my Treasure: open for me. You are my Fullness: accept me. I am a Spark of Your Light returning from the sea of forgetfulness. I acknowledge the One Great Invisible God, unproclaimable and unmarked. Supply my needs from day to day out of Your infinite Providence, and let me be an instrument in Your hands. Guide me to restore the Fullness to the Aeon, and give healing for my body and my soul forever. For Yours is the power and the glory and the praise and the greatness, unto the Aeons of Aeons. Amen."

“Holy is God, the Father of all things, who is before the First Beginning. Holy is God, whose Will is performed by His own powers. Holy is God, who determines to be known by His own.

I give thanks to You, O Father, the Light of my Mind. Illumine my soul with the Gnosis of Your Presence. Let the shadows of the Archons dissolve before the radiance of the Monad. Open my eyes to the correspondence of all things, that I may see the eternal within the moment.

I am a spark of Your Fire; I am the breath of Your Spirit. Lead me to the Ogdoad, where the Silence speaks Your Name.

So bet it. It is done."
